    Bonn is DEFINITELY NOT in the heart of the "Ruhrgebiet". It is in the heart of the "Rheinland" (Rhineland). And the river in Bonn is the Rhine!

    Cities like Duisburg, Essen and Bochum are in the "Ruhrgebiet", because they are placed near the Ruhr, which is a river aswell.
